Description

Add the Panzer III Ausf. H brick set to your collection and display a tank that made history in numerous battles of World War II.

Build one of the most popular and extensively developed German tanks of World War II. PzKpfw III tanks were deployed on almost every front—from the September Campaign in 1939, through the Battle of France and Operation Barbarossa, to the Battle of Kursk, and finally the German Army's last operations against the USSR and the Western Allies in 1944–1945.

This COBI set, in 1:28 scale, allows you to take a closer look at the backbone of the German armored forces during World War II.

What you will find in the Panzer III Ausf. H brick set:

• Medium tank model – featuring a black-and-steel color scheme and movable tracks that allow for realistic vehicle movement. Its distinctive silhouette, opening hatches and movable turret and gun barrel make this model highly appealing to collectors and instantly recognizable.

• 1:28 Scale – the model's proportions faithfully replicate the shape and character of the original vehicle. This is the most detailed scale in the HISTORICAL COLLECTION WWII series, allowing for the inclusion of a vast number of structural details.

• Replicated interior – not only the armor and markings, but also the interior of the tank has been reconstructed with historical accuracy. The removable turret is full of details, and a detachable section of the armor allows you to look inside and see the engine compartment as well as the crew positions.

• Tank Commander Figure – wearing a tanker’s side cap and black coveralls, holding a wrench for tightening bolts and a fuel canister, ready to perform quick maintenance on the machine.

• Removable Engine – beneath a removable service hatch lies the Maybach HL120 TRM engine, which can be taken out and displayed alongside the vehicle.

• Perfect for Play and Display – the model looks stunning in a display case or on a collector's shelf, while also being suitable for dynamic play and recreating historical scenes.

• Premium Build Quality – durable building blocks featuring abrasion-resistant prints ensure a sturdy construction and long-lasting enjoyment.

• Exclusive Collector’s Plaque – an elegant display stand featuring the vehicle's name and scale highlights the model's collectible appeal.

• Intuitive Assembly – clear, step-by-step instructions make the building process a satisfying experience for both younger builders and adult history enthusiasts.

• For History Enthusiasts – this set is designed for children aged 10 and up, as well as adult collectors, combining educational, collectible and display value.

• Create Your Own History – this model belongs to the HISTORICAL COLLECTION WWII series, which you can expand and combine with other sets. Build dioramas, recreate real-world events or change the course of history—in the world of building blocks, you are the commander!

Panzerkampfwagen III

The PzKpfw III (Panzerkampfwagen III) was a German medium tank from the World War II era. The first prototypes of the vehicle were developed in 1936, and serial production ran from 1937 to 1943. It was one of the most intensively developed tanks in the Wehrmacht's arsenal, resulting in the creation of numerous variants.

The PzKpfw III Ausf. H was the first variant designed from the outset to be armed with a 50 mm cannon. Following lessons learned during the campaign in Poland, a decision was also made to increase its armor protection. Furthermore, a six-speed transmission was introduced; due to the increased weight, the tracks were widened—a modification that also necessitated changes to the drive and idler wheels.

Over time, PzKpfw III tanks proved increasingly ineffective in combat against Allied tanks; consequently, in mid-1942, the process of re-equipping a portion of these vehicles with short-barreled 75 mm guns began. Their operational role was also restricted to providing direct infantry support and screening heavy PzKpfw VI Tiger tanks against enemy infantry. Production of the vehicle ceased entirely in mid-1943.

Build a model of the Panzer III Ausf. H—one of the most widely deployed German tanks of World War II. Each brick represents a step toward discovering the history of this machine and creating realistic dioramas and battle scenes.

This set is an ideal choice for history enthusiasts, collectors and admirers of legendary military vehicles.
