The History of the Fw 190 A-4
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was one of the most important German combat aircraft of World War II. Over 20,000 units were produced, including approximately 6,000 fighter-bomber variants. The A-4 version was a key developmental variant, combining firepower, durability and versatility.

Although originally designed as an air superiority fighter, it quickly evolved into a multi-role aircraft. Thanks to numerous upgrades and armament variants, it remained in service until the very end of the war, playing a vital role in both daytime combat and defense against Allied air raids.
One of the most famous pilots associated with the Fw 190 was Walter Nowotny. He was a German military pilot during the Second World War. His activity was associated with the military aviation of that period and the development of new aircraft designs.
